Board Works started with a simple problem: my children's clothes were being washed, but the underarms still weren't truly clean.

After years of dealing with deodorant buildup, gray or yellowing underarms, and trapped odors in my children's clothing, I needed a better solution. I couldn't afford to keep replacing perfectly good clothes simply because the underarms had become difficult to clean. I also knew how frustrating and embarrassing it was when their shirts were freshly washed but still had gray or yellow underarm stains or armpit areas didn't smell clean. So, I began experimenting at home and created what would eventually become Renew.

What started as something I made for my own children's clothing became something I wanted to share with other families — a simple, practical way to give clothing another chance instead of donating or throwing it away.
